Help!
Here’s the thing.
I make enough to cover my rent, which includes some costs for food but given that I have special dietary needs, I need to spend more money than I really have available to spend on food.
The benefits I have barely cover the medications I need, which keep me from wanting to kill myself which I’m sure you’ll agree is a very important thing.
This doesn’t leave much at all for my cellphone, which may seem completely frivolous, but let me explain: We don’t have a landline phone, cable or internet here. My phone is all those things for me. It’s my primary (only) means of contact, and I can’t exactly expect to get a new job if I can’t be contacted, can I?
I’m left still needing money for other necessary things, like clothes (I can’t even really afford to go to thrift stores), and shoes and the like. I’d love to be able to eat more than a meal a day, but the way things are, this is how I live.
I really hate asking for things, especially money. I’m just at a point where I need help. I won’t think less of you if you don’t help, truly it’s not your burden to bear, it’s mine. Still, it would be really fucking awesome if you did. Every little bit helps and certainly adds up!
